Story behind this recipe
My husband loves Takatala sauce after I purchased some, telling him how much my late father loved to marinate meat with it. He started putting it on his plate with a BBQ instead of tomato sauce and has since developed such a love for it we now use it in a lot of different dishes. My husband's parents are both vegetarian so we always try to serve something delicious to vegos and non vegos and this one is frequently requested. It is also adaptable and can be served with grilled chicken, fish and pasta if you like meat.
