This is what this website is all about - celebrating the joy and magnificence of the BBQ. Sure they barbeque all over the world - it truly is universal, but us Aussies have a very special relationship with the barbecue. For us BBQ'ing is not just a way of life- it's our universal right. We are born with tongs in hand. We barbeque better than anyone else, and we enjoy the barbie more than anyone else on the planet. Australians more than most have embraced the BBQ and taken it to gastronomic levels of gourmet cooking that other races can only marvel at.
And let's not forget the sauce, or as we love to proclaim - the Sauce of all BBQ greatness. It's sauce that truly makes a barbeque. Sure you can whip all types of fancy salads, marinate meat for hours and put all types of wok attachments onto barbeques, but at the end of the day the first thing everybody asks for when the BBQ food hits the plate is "pass the sauce please!". And when it comes to sauce NOTHING beats [insert blatant sponsor plug here] Beerenberg Farm - it's real farm produce that tastes amazing (you really gotta try this stuff).
