Aussie BBQ Legends

My nephew held his wedding at our place and I catered with a pig on a spit. All went well until serving from the bbq under the fern house. Un needed help turned up the hot plates and the resulting heat caught the crackling alight and caused a 3mx3m hole in the shade cloth. Luckily not all the meat had been carved so the wedding guests did have to eat succulent pork and melted shade cloth. After restoring order I had to head into town for another beer keg which found its way out thru the back window of the landcruiser and rolled down the driveway. All in all a great wedding albeit one with a difference
