BBQ Crash n' Burn
I had finally gotten my own place, my own bit of paradise, the only thing it was missing was a bbq. This was something I sorely needed so I saved for months to get the bbq of my dreams. After about 4 months, I finally had it, a brand new bbq. It was perfect, and I could see myself grilling for years on it. To celebrate, I thought it was the perfect time to have all of my mates come round and we would cook a kings meal. Steaks, burgers, sausages, we had everything we could have possibly needed. We were just about to start grilling when a feeling of horror had struck, the bbq was brand new, and as such we didnt have a full gas tank. I knew it was my responsibility, so I hopped in my old Camira to go get a tank. Now, my Camira's brakes had been troubling me for the last few weeks, but I didnt think much of it at the time, my mind was set on what was to be the greatest barby of my life. All I had to do was reverse out of the garage, turn around and go out the driveway. At this point, I should mention that the only area on my property built up enough to put a bbq on was the concrete between my house and garage. So there I was when, about to turn around into the driveway, when my brakes failed me and BANG... I drove right into my brand new bbq, with all of my mates watching. The bbq was destroyed, as was the front bumper of my Camira and worst of all, my mates have yet to let me live it down even though it was over a year ago. Needless to say, Im still without a bbq.
Boy howdy.
