Aussie BBQ Legends
Oh how things in the BBQ world have progressed, from the easy travel* fridge rack and 4 coke cans* to the magnificent Stainless Steel 4 and6 burner jobs with side WOK burners, rotisseries and countless other features.Having used them all from from the easy travel to the latest ,the biggest improvement has been the introduction of BEERENBERG SAUCES.

The Apron......
Hmmmmmmmmm, my apron says "Grill Sergeant".
People read it and say "Cool, teach me".
And the Grill Sergeant (Major) is more than happy to give Grill Drill.

The Apron
The BBQer should always be wearing an apron.
The apron should have a slogan like "Big Sausage Anyone ?" or "Kiss the cook" just something that sounds like a bit of a Dad's joke ie not thigh slapping funny but slightly amusing.add commentFeb 23 | Nerida Hicks

East travel BBQ's.
Back in the 'good ol' days' ours was 4 bricks and the rear door/hatch off an M113 APC. Couldn't get the flame *too* hot though, otherwise it just melted the aluminium door. That's where the Grill Sergeant learnt all about flame control :-)
We always had a chuckle, whilst enjoying a fresh cooked snag out bush, that somewhere in the Australian Army was a Crew Commander of an APC, driving along wondering why he had a cold breeze going up his leg :-)
But the days of stealing rear doors off APC's are done. Grill Sergeant likes all the bells and whistles on his BBQ..... especially if it's a shiny new one :-)
