Needed new rocks for the BBQ, so I brought what I thought were the right ones, got them home and hubby put them in the BBQ, Guests coming that weekend. Hubby fires up the Barbie, next think we hear bring out the meat, took it out as walked back inside, and hear meat ready, The look on Daught-in-laws face was priceless, it was like "What did he say", so go out again, the poor meat is BLACK with in a minute. problem was, I had brought Hot Rocks, that go in the fires to keep you warm, Hubby quickly turned off the BBQ, as by this stage it was glowing Red, and he got the shovel to lift the hot plate off the BBQ, and we put it into water, the steam that came off it was unbelievable, and the BBQ was still hot to touch the next day. and very buckled and out of shape, still is to this day.
